Your Elusive View
I am interested in how we see. This time I particularly focus on how eyes function and we see.
The experience of color is not a biological construct but rather a cultural one. It is based on previous knowledge that is stored in our brain. A color's very existence is based on how other colors are understood.
Placing black and white images next to colored ones give us another chance to re-look, re-think and re-examine what we see and what we already know.
